1.What are the email services provided by Chang Gung University for faculty members?
A:
(1)Office365 Outlook: No application is required and each mailbox has 50GB storage quota. Please refer to the detailed information.
(2)Zimbra mailbox: Application is required and each mailbox has 2GB storage quota. Please refer to Question 4 for the application procedures.
(3)GAP (Gmail) mailbox: It can be directly activated online if you have a Zimbra mailbox account.

4.How can I apply for an e-mail account?
A: Please fill in the "Application Form for Faculty/Staff E-mail Account" and attach the photocopy of your ID of Chang Gung University. It takes about three working days to create a new account. Then you can access your account to check e-mails.
 
5.What is my e-mail account and password?
A: If you log in from Webmail, the account password is the same as the single sign-on.
 
6.How do I change the password of my e-mail account?
A: First login to Single Sign-On System, click the "Personal Info", then click the "Change Password".
 
7.What should I do, if I forgot the password?
A: Please follow the Single Sign-On guidelines. If you can’t come to the school for resetting password, please attach your electronic files of two identity proofs by email or Fax.
 
8.Can I use the e-mail account provided by the school after quitting the job?
A: According to the school's e-mail usage rules, faculty and staff (including visiting scholars and full-time research assistants) will continue to retain their rights of use after retirement or resignation.
 
9.What is the storage quota of my Zimbra mailbox?
A: A total of 2 GB storage quota is allocated for each faculty/staff mailbox. The storage quota of each mailbox is limited, so please be sure to regularly use Outlook or Windows Live Mail to transfer emails to your computer, in order to retain space to receive new emails. Please also regularly clean up the trash box to save the storage space.
 
10.Why did the Computer Center send me an e-mail for requesting my account and password?
A: The Computer Center will never ask a user to provide his account/password or other personal information
